The Česká Třebová junction is an important place for both passenger and freight transport. The reconstruction will enable an increase in the speed of train passage, the builders will raise all platforms, to which lifts will also newly provide fully barrier-free access. The inhabitants of Česká Třebová will appreciate the reduction of noise from the railway transport and also the connection of the station forecourt with Semanínská Street thanks to a new footbridge over the track facility. Construction is expected to take place from December this year until December 2031.
Správa železnic also received a subsidy for the preparation of high-speed lines, specifically for the preparation of project documentation for the VRT (HSL) Praha – Brno – Břeclav. Financial support was provided for the documentation for the project permit, specifically for the sections: the VRT Praha (HSL Prague), VRT Polabí (HSL Elbe Flatlands), VRT Střední Čechy (HSL Central Bohemia), VRT Vysočina II (HSL Highlands II), VRT Vysočina I (HSL Highlands I) and VRT Jižní Morava (HSL South Moravia) including the connection to conventional lines. In addition to the expenditure on the project preparation of the sections, the project preparation of the Kořenice-Bečváry, Jihlava VRT and Brno-Vídeňská VRT transport terminals will also be financed.
An important priority of the EU and the Czech Republic is to secure railway lines with modern signalling equipment and the European train control system ETCS. Správa železnic has received all the funds requested for railway safety in this call.
Správa železnic has long been successful in drawing funds from the CEF programme. The readiness of the projects has enabled it to obtain total funding of approximately CZK 33 billion in the three calls so far. This has significantly contributed to the use up of the funds allocated to the Czech Republic under the programme. Správa železnic will also seek further support in the fourth and final call, with a deadline for applications in January 2025.Soubory ke stažení
